1.
Darkness 17:31
how i dream to see the sun extinguished the tepid light of the moon flicker away all the wandering stars darkening until their dim lights fade how the earth would swing blindly lost in the darkness of eternal space the rivers, the lakes, the ocean all the waters would sit deathly still ships would stand lifeless rotting on the oceans above a vast motionless abyss without tide or surge and the winds would wither away into a dull stagnant air the clouds following in suit for darkness had no need of them (it is she who is the universe)
2.
i've heard the music of moonlit beams played upon a silvery lyre in a languid dream a hollow sound which echoes in the mists lamentations for days now distant sounds that reach the quivering waters below where upon the surface dies a golden foam waters torn asunder by the solemn music of a mangled, broken heart
3.
in the dark realms of forlorn wastes where nought but silence reigns lies lands of unending graveyards and hecatombs kingdoms buried beneath a desert sea the victims of a slow, passionless malice the anger of eternity... now nothing but ruins of sand over which the pale horseman rides
4.
within the shadows of empty streets untouched by the moonlights pale glow there's a laughter that hides in silence like the phantoms of solitary graveyards half-glimpsed through chequering trees the fleeting glimpses of an unknown religion a kind of childlike horror i've seen in a dashing faun's eyes
5.
many nights i've heard amidst the rain the voice of an ancient weeping that draws my mind to the murky waters off a distant island shore waters beneath aqueous black crags that drizzle down the islands coast steeped in garments of ivy that seek the abyss below many nights i've watched amidst the rain the small boats that sail there never coming back...
